I'm a graduate of the Sheridan
College School of Crafts and Design. I love what I do: design and build
interesting and innovative objects from wood (mostly), for residences, and
corporate clients. A few examples of what I've done are on the gallery page, but
if you'd like to commission me to make something completely original for you, we
can discuss it by email, phone or in person. The commission
process involves the
initial consultation, followed by paid design time.

When
you choose to proceed with the making of the concept, a 50% deposit is required
for me to continue. If you can make it, please visit my studio (on the edge of a
forest in North Bay, Ontario) when I'm working on your piece. You'll come to
understand first hand the processes involved, and it's a rewarding experience
that wil enhance your appreciation of the object.
My work has been seen in over 20
exhibitions, been published in books and used on gallery posters. I was recently
awarded an Ontario Arts Council Craftsman grant for my chair designs. In
addition to studio work, I also offer instruction and consultation for
individuals or groups. I have often taught at Canadore College, Northern
Ontario's leading college, alongside artists in fine craft and fine art. This
has lead to the creation of some collaborative works. |
